It has been a while since I shared a DIY but I have many exciting DIYs in store for you! To start off, it is a simple hardware bracelet. Now that the weather is getting warmer, we won’t be having layers of clothes and gloves covering our wrists. So a perfect time to accessorize!
Here’s what you will need:
- Hardware Pieces (Only $2)
- 6mm Gold Jump Rings & a Clasp
- Jewelry Plier
Step 1: Arrange the hardware pieces in the pattern you prefer. Pattern in option (a) is joining a front of one hardware piece with a back of another. Option (b) is joining a front of one piece with a front of another piece and a back with another back. I went with (a).
Step 2: Using the jewelry pliers and jump rings, join the hardware pieces according to the pattern you selected. I used 8 pieces to make it long enough to go around my wrist.
Step 3: Once you finish linking the number of pieces you needed, add jump rings at both ends.
Step 4: Attach a closure to one of the jump rings at the end of the bracelet.
Then you have your gold hardware bracelet ready! Stack with other bracelets like the DIY chain & bead bracelet shown in the first picture.
I hope you enjoyed this quick DIY! You can customize it by using hardware pieces in different shapes, sizes or colors. Share a picture on Facebook if you give it a try! Stay tuned for more spring and summer jewelry DIYs here on HIGH on DIY.
